

A self-starter, for
the past 14 years Ted has studied with such notable
teachers and artists as the late Patricia Raab
(Russian impressionism), Robert Hoggard (drawing)
Deanne Lemley (still life), Diana Shynne (acrylics),
Henry Stinson (figures) and Ned Mueller (landscapes).
An occasional prize
winner, Ted's work is consistently juried into local
and regional shows. One of his painting “Skiffs at Ease”
was recently featured in the North Light publication
“Artist's Photo Reference-Boats and Nautical Scenes”
by Gary Greene. Ted teaches beginning oil and acrylic
painting at Bothell's Arts Umbrella, a community
resource for aspiring artists.and maintains an
independent studio in Woodinville with his wife,
Lynn Wilson, and studio partner Steve Whitney.
His affiliations include: Oil Painters of America,
Eastside Association of Fine Arts, NW Watercolor
Society, Puget Sound Group of NW Painters, Woodinville
Artists Association, Cottage Lake Art Guild, and
Washington Plein Air Painters.
Ted's work is represented by the Kaewyn Gallery in
Bothell where he recently exhibited his first one man
